Battlefield 1942
| Battlefield 1942 was one of the largest and most creative games I have ever seen. It combines aspects of first person shooters together with flight sims, strategy, tank commanders, and....blowing big stuff up. Not only can you choose your class as a soldier in the beginning of a round, but after you actually spawn, youg et the option of hopping into a tank, jeep,b-17 flying fortress, p51, half-track, or manning an anti-aircraft gun, coastal battery, or even firing off a cruiser's main guns! The great thing about his game is the versatility. You may be be worst marksman there ever was, but you may be the best at planting TNT and blasting tanks that run over them. You may be the timid type that is too scared to spearhead a charge, but you may be able to keep your cool from 300 meters away, with your sniper rifle. Or you may be the kind that can't sit still, and always rush with your bar, blasting anything, dieing, and then doing it again. Or you may hate killing, and run around with your med pack and heal everyone, running away from enemies and staying clear from the front lines. This game has a class for every type of soldier.
